FAQ

  • What services do you provide?
  • I do off-leash dog park trips in the Seattle area.
  • Can you do overnight pet sitting in my home?  I'm not a current client...
  • Unfortunately, I am not petting sitting anymore.

  • How many do you take in your pack?
  • Anywhere from 6-9. I make sure they have complimentary temperaments before putting them in a group together. Unfortunately, i do not to private/solo walks.

  • Where do you take the dogs?
  •  We go to Magnuson Park each weekday afternoon.  We also go to Magnuson Park or Dr. Jose Rizal park in the late mornings for some huge fun and off-leash time.

  • What are your hours?
  • I am available to dog walk from 10-5 and can arrange time outside of these hours for emergencies if you are an established client.  Depending on the day and the clients for the day, my walks' start times will vary due to travel times.

  • How do you know if my dog will be compatible?
  • Most people have taken their dog to a dog park and if they are bit of a bully or will roll over and offer-up their tummy to anyone and anything.  So, I'll start off by using you as an expert and I'll ask that you are extremely honest with me.  At the initial interview we will meet at your house, I will come with a list of questions for you and I hope that you'll have some for me too (just like in a horrible job interview, minus the suits and sweaty palms.)

  • What is required for dog park visits?
  • Almost every dog interviewed is accepted. There are some restrictions &/or requirements. Dogs are considered on a case by case and personality basis.
    - Dogs must have current identification tags and licensing.
    - Dogs must be at least 4 months old with all their shots.
    - Be spayed or neutered & have basic obedience training to be in the regular dog groups.
    - All shots up to date including but not limited to,rabies, distemper, parvo, bordatella, Para influenza.
    - Not aggressive, assertive or treat or toy protective.

  • How do you keep track & control of all the dogs?
  • Through experience, reading, and consultations with reputable trainers, I am very knowledgeable about dog behavior.  I remain consistent with my routine and commands so the dogs know what behavior is acceptable. I find this approach is essential to ensure a safe and fun day.  I also understand the importance of earning your pooches' love.  I not only walk your dogs, I get right in there and play with them.  I am energetic and athletic and I'm not afraid to get dirty!  My role is to be the provider of all good things, toys, treats (with your permission), praise, affection or other forms of reward.

  • What happens if an emergency or accident should occur?
  • I ask that you notify your vet that I can bring them in for emergency services.  If they allow it- please keep a credit card on file for expenses.  I am EXTREMELY careful with your pooch and haven't had any major emergencies in the 11 years that i have been caring for other people's pets.

  • How does the pick up & drop off work?
  • I reside in Seattle on Capitol Hill. I will set up a pick up and drop off window with you prior. I need to keep a set of your keys (they will never be labeled with your address & I have never lost a set).

  • Can you give my pet it's medicine?
  • Of course! I have tons of experience administering oral and injectable medicines. I will however require written guidelines for application beyond what the prescription states.
